You must enrol all eligible jobholders onto the Employer Portal. Any contributions paid to NatWest Cushon during an employee’s opt-out period will be invested after the end of that period.
If the employee wants to opt out of the scheme they will need to call the NatWest Cushon automated telephone line on 020 3764 2016 where notice can be given over the phone using their unique 6 digit access code, confirmed to them within their Welcome Email.
Alternatively, an employee can request a paper notice form for signature by calling NatWest Cushon. The same team should be contacted if a new access code is required by an employee.
Employees seeking to opt out must do so within their 1 month opt-out period if the request is to be valid. In the event of a valid opt-out being received for an employee, NatWest Cushon will refund any contributions already paid to the bank account where contributions were collected from, and the employer should then return any payments collected from salary to the employee, subject to Income Tax and National Insurance in the normal manner.
