If an employee attempts to opt out after the end of the opt out period, or wishes to cease their active membership at any time after the end of such period, they can do so by following the ‘standard’ process (either completion of the telephony opt out process, or submission of the alternative paper notice form by the employee within the opt out period).
There will be no payment back to the bank account where contributions were collected from in such instance due to the fact that the opt out period has ended.
